What is the Preikestolen Trail Run?

The Preikestolen Trail Run is probably one of the most spectacular half marathons out there. Runners will experience the best the Lysefjord has to offer as well as the spectacular Preikestolen or Pulpit Rock that the event takes its name from.

How far is the Preikestolen Trail Run?

The race is roughly 21.5 km in distance (unfortunately not control measured) but covers some very rough and technical trails. There is also around 1500m of elevation to add to the challenge!

Where does the Preikestolen Trail Run route take you?

The event starts with a ferry ride along the epid Lysefjord to reach the start, and runners then make their way back to the finish area. The planned trail for 2021 goes from Revså Kai, then up around Revsåvannet before runners follow the trail up to Neverdalsfjellet. After this they will follow the "horse trail" to Neverdalsskaret and then follow the hiking trail into Songesand.
