Ever wondered how far you could really go? …. We did! So get ready to push further, dig deeper, move your goals higher. Voom performance nutrition helps you achieve your potential.
At the core of VOOM is sports science, personal experience and good old northern grit.
We are a dedicated team with two things in common; an addiction to the outdoors and a dedication to creating sports nutrition products that taste good and do good.
We’ve all tried many different ways to fuel our training and racing and while there were some good products out there, something was still missing. Instead of moaning about it, we made it our mission to do something about it.
We all agreed on the ultimate test for VOOM product: would we use them ourselves? We took our expertise from working in product development, mixed the best bits together and rolled them into an awesome product range. We aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel, but we want products that are functional, portable, easy to eat and stomach friendly, and they obviously have to taste good! Everything we have been personally looking for, but had struggled to find.
We’re not going to lie, there was a lot of testing, numerous trips to our very patient local producers, and countless trips back to the drawing board. Luckily, at the VOOM Office, we have the Lake District fells out of one window and the Yorkshire Dales out the other. It’s safe to say we have the perfect testing playground right on our doorstep. Some call it research, but we call it a great excuse to be outside!
All our products have carefully balanced formulas, based on strong scientific research. Each product has a specific use within training or racing and together offer a complete sports nutrition strategy, all in a handy, convenient and tasty packages.
VOOM products are for anyone who wants to be confident that the fuel they put into their body will help maximise their performance. We set out to find a sports nutrition product that we would be proud of, happy to share with our friends and use ourselves. It wasn’t easy and there were a few hills to climb along the way, but we got there in the end.
VOOM. Do your best, better.

Jack of all trades, master of… everything! Farmer, Doctor of Psychophysiology, GB Mountain Runner turned elite road cyclist and World Champion. We are yet to find something she’s not good at!
Proper northern lass, sport scientist, fell runner, road cyclist, baker and queen of café rides – with a great degree of success.
Southern fella now firmly ensconced in the North West. Clive adds an eclectic element to the team. From ski seasons to sailing around the Med with his young family he has also enjoyed helping manage and protect the Lake District World Heritage Site and been responsible for introducing electric vehicles to the Lakes (please ask him!). He enjoys a good bike ride, a sail and a run – just not all at the same time.
With a wealth of experience in working with leading nutrition brands to call on, he is a good sounding board in the office. A keen sailor, skier and new to Nordic walking, most weekends you’ll find him racing or training somewhere in the lakes.
